Portfolio Review

The Portfolio Review and Admission to the Professional Program is a selective process based on academic achievement demonstrating skills in design principles and elements, design creativity, drafting and lettering, technical accuracy, and craftsmanship.

The Portfolio Review is based on coursework from the following three classes:

  • ArchSt 1200 Drafting
  • Art 1050 Beginning Drawing

Each year, approximately 45 students are admitted to the Professional program. These students begin taking a sequence of Studio courses that culminate in the Bachelor of Science degree.
