Nancy Schultz, HES Senior Director of Development, works with the department to determine development goals and identify alumni, friends and industry that may wish to support the Department of Architectural Studies. The Department has engaged in a long-term development plan that involves the advisory board, organized alumni events and personal contacts with alumni, friends and industry. Results of the plan have been the establishment of endowed scholarships, both undergraduate and graduate and enhancement funds to support teaching, research, and facilities. Architectural Studies was the first department in the College to establish an endowment, in perpetuity, whose investment earnings are used to meet current and future needs.
