What helped you from MU’s Architectural Studies?
Carlo Licea
BIM Manager, Boulder Associates Architects
“While many graduates of MU Architectural Studies go forward to earn a masters of architecture, I chose to take an alternative path. The understanding of technology, code compliance, sustainable design, and human environmental factors, are regularly leveraged aspects of my education gained while attending classes taught by the HES faculty. But, more importantly, I was given an understanding of the methods and concerns of architects and interior designers through the integrated curriculum. Architectural design technology is my passion, but I would not be able to properly serve architects and interior designers if I did not have the type and quality of education I received. Because of my education, I have a career that allows me to improve the capabilities of those designing our built environments by alleviating technological hurdles with solutions tailored to their needs – ultimately improving the quality of service they can provide clients.”
