Doctoral student Dawn Loraas was selected as one of the five interior design graduate student scholars nationwide who will receive a scholarship to attend the Interior Design Educators Council annual conference in Charlotte, NC from March 6 to March 9, 2019. As part of her doctoral studies with an environment-behavior focus, she is also pursuing a certificate in Public Health focusing on Epidemiology. Dawn is certified interior designer who maintains an independent design practice in Duluth, MN which provides consulting services to real estate developers, residential and commercial clients. Dr. Laura Cole serves as Dawn’s doctoral advisor and mentor.
