The Mizzou Alumni Association announced the Spring 2020 recipients of the Richard Wallace Faculty Incentive Grant. Out of five recipients across campus, the Department of Architectural Studies boasts two award winners. Dr. Suyeon Bae was awarded support for her project entitled “Favorable hospital environments for patients and staff: An exploratory study,” a pilot study that will expand her healthcare research in the Missouri context. Dr. Laura Cole received funding for her project entitled “Building awareness: Green building awareness and behaviors in the green residence hall,” which will examine undergraduate eco-knowledge and behaviors at the LEED-certified Gateway Residence Hall on the MU campus.
