Student Work

Project: One-Point Perspective

Drafting

MISSION STATEMENT FOR PROJECT:

Students will design and hand draft a room of their choice from a one-point perspective.

GOALS OF THE PROJECT:
  1. Students must create a mood board for inspiration of their chosen space. The mood board should be a collage of images that include appliances, furniture, flooring, fixtures, and other finishes.
  2. Students should pay close attention to the quality of their draft and lines. Each composition should display a variety of line weights and shapes to create a well-balanced composition.
  3. All finishes, furniture, and fixtures should be rendered accurately with a fine level of detail and scale.
