MISSION STATEMENT FOR PROJECT:

Design the cinema and theatre center as a vibrant cultural hub in Downtown Columbia. The center will be a venue for True/ False Film Festival and the community events, providing the multicultural entertainment experience. Ragtag Film Society runs the festival for independent film and media arts, bringing thousands of people from around the world to Columbia. 

GOALS OF THE PROJECT:

1. Promote integration in the urban fabric and historical context. Make differences without deteriorating the existing qualities in the downtown district.
2. Provide a much more diverse and dynamic experience that cannot be achieved in the conventional concealed cinema architecture.
3. Create a vibrant landmark, providing an intersection between entertainment, cultural experiences, and entertainment.
