MISSION STATEMENT FOR PROJECT:

Students are to create a sculptural composition inspired by a renowned piece of art. Each sculpture is created from a modular, three-dimensional shape.

GOALS OF THE PROJECT:
  1. The composition should reflect research of the chosen artwork, understanding its context, technique, and the artist’s intention.
  2. The composition should reflect a high level of craftsmanship and detail.
  3. Student should consider their composition in an abstract and dynamic manner, while exploring creation in a three-dimensional space.
