MISSION STATEMENT FOR PROJECT:

This project asks students to create expressive rendering through the exploration of various illustrative techniques and examination of detail. Students create three ink renderings utilizing various techniques.

GOALS OF THE PROJECT:

1. Each composition should be distinct and have a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and overall emotion.
2. The image is cropped and presented in a thoughtful manner to highlight the best aspects of the subject.
3. Student successfully applies new techniques to their composition and explores a different hierarchy of detail through each rendering.
