David Anthony Hill
David is an “alternative” Ph.D. student in more ways than one: he’s an avid outdoorsman/USAF veteran/diehard patriot who still “leans pretty left” in life, he’s a husband/dad/average musician/passable chef (and “pretty good” in the husband/dad category), and he’s a practicing professional with a decades-long career focused on sustainability and resiliency before coming to Mizzou.
David is an advocate for “doing the right thing” in his community, in his industry, and now in organizing different ways for his “partners in crime” in the Ph.D. program to make beneficial social and research connections with each other via on-campus gatherings and Zoom hangouts… especially for international and remote students.
