Jackson earned his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from Mizzou in 2023 and is now a second-year Master of Architecture student and Graduate Instructor. During his time at Mizzou, Jackson competed in the USDOE Solar Decathlon, in which he earned two finalist finishes in 2022 and 2023 and was a part of the third-place winning team in 2024. During his past 5 years at MU, he has had the opportunity to work at a local architecture firm designing sustainable, net-zero custom residential, and small-scale commercial projects. As of 2024 he has completed over 30 various-phase projects. Jackson’s interests lie in the realm of sustainability, equitable design, construction materials and methods, urban development, affordable housing, and design communication.

When he is not in the studio or classroom, Jackson is a veteran guitarist, having played for over 18 years. Music is a passion of his and will regularly challenge anyone to a game of “name that song.”
