Leanne Silva
Leanne is a Master’s Student in the Architectural Studies department at the University of Missouri and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the University of Central Missouri. She is a Registered Interior Designer in the State of Texas with eleven years of industry experience including workplace, education, multi-family, national restaurant, and residential design. Her keen attention to detail and team player mindset have allowed her to guide coworkers and clients through all design phases and lead urban projects in the Austin, TX community.
Learning inspires and motivates her to help others discover a love for learning through exploration, storytelling, and engaging in the built environment. Leanne facilitated NCIDQ Study Courses, the official examination required for Interior Design licensure, for the IIDA Texas Oklahoma Chapter as Austin’s Associates Chair. Also, she co-chaired IIDA’s Emerging Leaders, an eight-month program focused on leadership topics led monthly by industry professionals for early to mid-level designers. In addition to being an advocate of professional development, she enjoys Urban Sketchers Austin and volunteered as a Redbird Rookies Youth Softball Coach for LifeWise StL (formerly Kingdom House) sponsored by Cardinals Care with the St. Louis Cardinals.
