The Blind Boone Apartment project is a retrofit of aging, 1960s Public Housing units in Columbia, Missouri preparing to be submitted to the 2024 Solar Decathlon. The 4.3-acre site is located on N Providence Rd. And Park Ave. and is home to forty-four apartments units, as well as a children’s community center, maintenance building, and laundromat. The new addition will increase density and install sustainable systems to help alleviate residents of their utility and water bills.
